Admission to the program

尊皇棋牌In addition to the general university requirements for admission to graduate studies, the School of Nursing requires:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing from a nationally accredited (NLN or CCNE) school
  • Admission to the WSU Graduate School
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of nursing undergraduate coursework
  • School of Nursing approval

Inside the Program

State-of-the-art mannequins provide nursing students with real-world experience

尊皇棋牌As a student in the School of Nursing, you can receive an interactive experience with state-of-the-art simulation mannequins in a realistic and safe environment. 

尊皇棋牌The lifelike actions of the new mannequins simulate a variety of symptoms and scenarios, including childbirth, seizures, blood pressure problems and bleeding.

尊皇棋牌Studies show that when used in conjunction with the classroom and clinicals, simulation promotes better preparation of new nurses and increased patient safety.

Curriculum

尊皇棋牌All students must identify their concentration through the school of nursing admission process and take all required courses with a minimum total of 36 credit hours for leadership/administration and a minimum of 37 credit hours for education MSN degrees.
